Upon completing a two year Weave Design Research Fellowship at the Ann Sutton Foundation, Laura Thomas established a studio in the heart of Cardiff, supported by the Arts Council of Wales and the Theo Moorman Charitable Trust. Laura works to commission on a wide range of projects from commercial home furnishing collections to site specific artworks for public spaces.

Combining the seemingly disparate graphic and organic, Laura takes great inspiration from the dramatic coastlines of her home county of Pembrokeshire and conversely, the slick, controlled aesthetics of visual communications. Laura's textiles reflect this amalgam of interests: refined, minimal fabrics,combined with a sophisticated use of colour, pattern and texture.

Woven artworks and a limited edition range of cushions and throws are also available.
